The Grand Jury, made up of 19 members, is the county's watch dog agency. It operates under the supervision of the presiding judge of the Superior Court, and it ensures that our tax-supported city and county government agencies perform their duties properly and efficiently.

Any interested U.S. citizen who is 18 years or older, a resident of Nevada County and a person of good character is eligible to serve your community as a member of the Nevada County Grand Jury.
