Nevada County Community Development Agency customers may pay fees using a credit card. Pay your fees using a secured Web site or by telephone through Official Payments Corporation.
MasterCard, American Express, and Discover cards are accepted. (Note that Visa cards are NOT accepted.)
CONVENIENCE FEE
Official Payments collects the fees for the County. Official Payments charges a convenience fee that is paid to them. The convenience fee is
2.5% of the County fees with a minimum convenience fee of $1.00. (For example, a $100 payment would incur a charge of $2.50.)
BE SURE YOU HAVE HANDY:
You must have one of the following reference numbers available to ensure proper processing of your payment:
Invoice number, or Permit number, or Project number.
HOW TO PAY ONLINE
Once you enter the Official Payments Website (linked below) you will start with these steps:
1. On the opening page, click on
Local Payment.
2. Enter
1558 as the
Jurisdiction Code.
3. Click on the
Continue button. (The State and Payment Entity boxes will fill in for you, and the Payment Type box will light up.)
4. Using the drop-down list, select your
Payment Type.
5. Click on the
Continue button.
You will then go through several screens where you enter the amount, credit card, identity information, etc.
You may access the secured credit card payment Website by clicking on "Pay by Credit Card" below. The site will open in a new browser window.
