CDA has scanned building permit records available for your access. The files are stored in our DocuShare system here at the County. This is a Web-based document management system. You will be directed to DocuShare to begin retrieving your desired records at the end of this introductory page.
This service is free of charge.
The scanned records are organized by Assessor's Parcel Number (APN). We will hereafter refer to this as "APN ".
Scanning Progress:
1. All finaled over-the-counter permits for all APN numbers have been scanned. The records that are scanned are from years 1991 through the present.
Over-the-counter permits include the following types of permits:
- Re-roof permits
- Siding installation permits
- Plumbing permits ( LPG / natural gas lines, water heaters, etc. )
- Mechanical permits ( propane tanks, forced air units, heating systems, gas stoves, wood stoves, etc. )
- Electrical permits ( Ag pole to run well pump, upgrades, change out, etc. )
- Remodel permits
- Demolition permits
- Residential encroachment permits
2. All over-the-counter permits that have been finaled have been scanned.
3. All building records that have been requested by customers at our offices since April 26, 2005 have been scanned for future retrieval.
