Persons interested in applying for a position on a Board of Supervisors' Committee or Commission may submit an Application Form that can be obtained online or from the Board of Supervisors' office, Second Floor, Eric Rood Administrative Center, 950 Maidu Avenue, Nevada City.
An application can also be requested, or additional information about the vacancy can be obtained by calling the Clerk of the Board at (530) 265-1480.
All applicants must be residents of Nevada County and newly appointed members will be required to sign an oath of office prior to serving. Some Committee and Commission appointments also require members to file a Financial Disclosure Statement with the County.
