Establishing paternity.
Locating a parent to establish paternity and/or child support and enforcing child support payment.
Establishing, modifying and enforcing a court order to pay child support.
Collecting and distributing child and spousal support payments.
Establishing and enforcing medical support (including dental and vision care) and family support orders.
The Department of Child Support Services does not provide:
The handling of custody or visitation issues.
The handling of divorce cases.
The handling of community property issues.
Obtaining or enforcing restraining orders.
Establishing spousal support orders.
Federal law prohibits discrimination on the grounds of race, color, national origin, age, or handicap in programs or activities receiving financial assistance, such as the Child Support Program.
