This treasured historic venue is the meeting and special events facility for several veterans groups including the American Legion Post #130, Disabled American Veterans, Marine Corps League, and the Vietnam Veterans.
As a service to the community this facility is available to rent year around.This multipurpose venue was renovated in 2008 to provide modern comfort while preserving its historic character. It is an ideal setting for fundraisers, children's groups, dances, proms, dinner theaters, musical concerts, meetings, reunions, anniversaries, wedding receptions, birthday parties, community events and sporting events.

Honor those who serve with a stadium seat bearing a commemorative engraved plaque with their name.

The Center for the Arts, in conjunction with Nevada County and the Nevada County Consolidated Veterans Council, is managing a fundraising campaign to install 483 stadium seats with backs and cushions. Each seat will include a plaque dedicated to veteran or a veteran’s organization.

The Veterans Memorial Buildings are facilities owned by the County of Nevada.  The building in Grass Valley is operated by the County of Nevada, and the one in Nevada City is operated by the City of Nevada City.
