MyNeighborhood allows you to select individual parcels and click on the report icon in the results pane to get a full parcel report. You can also overlay images, district boundaries, find schools and parks, and latitude and longitude, as well as add a sketch and text to the map before printing. Additionally, you can upload a text file of addresses and display them on the map, and even buffer or select parcels and save a list of included addresses.
The current version of the MyNeighborhood mapping application has been updated in order to be increasingly user friendly and accessible by all devices. As technology progresses, we are seeing indications that major browsers are considering blocking support for Flash. The new application no longer requires the Adobe Flash plugin to be installed in order to view the maps in MyNeighborhood, allowing the maps to now be displayed on iOS devices. Over the last few years there have been an increasing number of views from mobile devices compared to desktop views which has necessitated making MyNeighborhood more accessible to mobile users. With responsive web design, the improved MyNeighborhood app will make interacting, panning, and scrolling across its maps on your mobile phone or tablet easier than its predecessor.
We will post YouTube videos on various topics as they become available.
