Advance Planning Division The Advance Planning Division is responsible for long-range planning in Nevada County, including but not limited to tasks related to updating and implementation of the Nevada County General Plan, preparing Zoning Ordinance amendments and all aspects of Recreation Planning.

2009-2014 Nevada County Housing Element Update The Nevada County Planning Department has scheduled a public hearing before the Nevada County Planning Commission on April 8, 2010 at 1:30 p.m. at the Eric Rood Center Board Chambers, 950 Maidu Ave. Nevada City, CA to consider the proposed 2009-2014 Housing Element Update. CDA is open to the public Monday through Friday (excluding County Holidays), from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM including the lunch hour.

Permits are not accepted for processing after 4:00 PM.

CDA accepts cash, checks, cashier's checks and credit cards.
