Tobacco Prevention at Western Gateway Park District
Results of Wednesday March 18, 2009 meeting.
The Gateway Park District meeting resulted in the successful passage of a resolution gaining compliance with California state law by placing "No Smoking" signs in the two Tot Lots. There was no motion for a resolution for Gateway Park to become a smoke-free park.
Youth Coalitions The tobacco program involves youth from Nevada County to participate in activities and meeting goals.
Youth Serving Organizations Nevada County is partnering with after-school programs to provide tobacco prevention education for youth age 5 through 12.
