The Tax Area Codes (TAC) are determined by the overlap of the various city, utility and district boundaries within the county. Each unique combination gets its own TAC number. The County Auditor uses these TACs to apply the appropriate tax rates, and to distribute the tax dollars to the various districts.
The TAC lists are presented in two versions; one listed
by district name, the other in
TAC numerical order.
