PURDON ROAD BRIDGE AT SOUTH YUBA RIVER
5/26/20 - 6/26/20
Rehabilitation of the Bridge over the Yuba River on Purdon Road is progressing nicely. The Bridge rehabilitation is part of the Public Works 2020 Capital Improvement Plan and is funded through the Federal Highway Infrastructure Program. The project provides repairs of the deck, railings and stringers on the existing structure.
The existing bridge was built in 1906 and is a one-lane, timber-deck bridge located over the Yuba River in Nevada City.
Closure for the entirety of the project on both the north side and south side of the bridge, from Murphy Rd to just south of the Yuba River, remains in affect to all public traffic (vehicle, pedestrian and bicycle) through 6/26/20, as the bridge is repaired.
Please observe all construction signs and the instructions of onsite personnel. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your patience .
