Inmate Visitation

Inmates may receive 1, 30 minute supervised visit each visiting day. All visits for non-professional visitors are non-contact. Inmates may receive up to 4 visitors at one time, one of which must be an adult. The visitation lobby is open Tuesday through Friday. Morning visits are held from 9 a.m. to 11:15 a.m. Afternoon visitation is from 12:30 p.m. until 4 p.m. Evening visitation is from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Visitor Requirements


All visitors must be 18 years of age or older. Appropriate attire is required. No cell phones or cameras are permitted in the visitation rooms. Visitors must provide current government issued ID at the time of check in. There are no exceptions to this rule. No ID, no visit. Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by their parent or legal guardian. Visitors are responsible for their children and must keep them under control. Unruly children may be cause for termination of a visit. Young children shall not be left unattended in the jail lobby or in the vehicle parking lot.

Visitors will be required to pass a security screening and may be subject to a physical search. Any breach of facility security will result in the termination of the visit and may cancel future visits. No person may visit more than two inmates incarcerated at the WBCF on a given visiting day. In the event of an emergency or special circumstance, the shift supervisor may grant additional visits.

Visitation List


Use the Inmate Visitation List to find out when the visiting hours are for the inmate you wish to visit. Inmates housed in minimum security may be unavailable during their allotted visitation time if they are on a work detail. Visitors are encouraged to call 530-265-1291 in advance to assist in determining if minimum security inmates are available.

Visitation may be suspended in the event of an emergency or a full facility lock down.

Types of Visits


New visitors must complete a visiting slip. This slip can be downloaded and filled out in advance. Personal visitors can complete the Public Visitor's Request form. Personal visits are subject to being recorded and/or monitored. Professional visitors (such as attorneys and doctors) can complete the Professional Visitor's Request Form. Professional visits are unlimited. Attorney/client visitation is not limited to specific times or subject to being recorded or monitored.
