Nevada County needs people to serve as Vote Center Staff Members in the November 3, 2020 General Election.
A registered California voter Represent Nevada County by providing high quality customer service to voters Attend one required vote center training course Serve at your assigned vote center for the duration of the voting period Legal US residents who would be eligible to vote except for your citizenship status are welcome to apply Eligible high school students are welcome to apply
Hours and Pay
Successful applicants will be free to serve up to an hour before the polls open and an hour or more after the polls close, across multiple days (with the exception of high school students). We are unable to split shifts. The polls are open from 8am - 5pm during the Early Voting period, and from 7am - 8pm on Election Day (unless extended by court order). Minimum $125 per 8-hour day and $200 for Election Day, with an extra $5 per day for Vote Center Managers plus $50 pay per training session.
