Wildfire Prevention & Preparedness Town Hall
Wednesday, December 5, 2018
December 5th, from 6:00-8:00 p.m. in the Board Chambers of the Rood Center, representatives from CALFIRE, local law enforcement, city officials, and staff from Nevada County are partnering to host a Wildfire Prevention and Preparedness Town Hall. Attendees will have an opportunity to learn from fire experts and community leadership, as well as ask questions and provide solutions. The threat of wildfire is urgent and efforts to safeguard the community require a multi-jurisdictional, all-hands-on-deck community approach.
We know fire safety is a topic at the top of everyone’s mind, and we are expecting a large turnout for this event. In an effort to make this meeting accessible to everyone, it will be available to watch live on NCTV - Nevada County Television (https://nevadacountytv.org/) and to listen to on KVMR 89.5FM & 105.1FM (https://www.kvmr.org/). Have concerns about fire safety or suggestions on fire prevention/preparedness? Submit them ahead of time at email@example.com.
