    The Mental Health and Substance Use Advisory Board (MHSUAB) is comprised of consumers, family members and community members appointed by the Board of Supervisors to advise the Behavioral Health Department. The MHSUAB meets monthly with the Behavioral Health Director to provide advice, guidance and recommendations. The MHSUAB may discuss or review topics related to policy, procedures, target population, budget, staffing, program development, service needs, assessment and priorities. The MHSUAB may request presentations from programs or staff in specific areas of interest. An Annual Report from the MHSUAB is provided to the BOS highlighting progress and accomplishments.

    The Nevada County Community Development Agency along with the Nevada County Association of Realtors (NCAOR) and the Nevada County Contractors' Association (NCCA) invites you to the 4th annual Building Fair this June. In anticipation of the building and wildfire season, the event will bring over 40 vendors in land development and wildfire preparedness fields. Come meet with the experts and get your questions answered from contractors, design professionals, material suppliers, greenhouse manufacturers, wildfire resource experts, utility providers, jurisdictional agencies, and real estate professionals.
